experienced Swedish Compliance Officer

FULL-TIME, PERMANENT - 3 - 6 months in bournemouth, uk

We’re looking for an experienced professional who has previously worked in compliance / operations for a Swedish lending company to join our team.
This role will involve spending 3 - 6 months at our awesome uk headquarters before relocating to a swedish office.


We require a candidate with experience working under or alongside the Swedish FSA. Knowledge / experience of consumer credit regulation, AML, implementing regulatory changes, internal auditing or anything similar would benefit your application.

What will you be doing?

In our fast-growing business, you’ll initially be tasked with helping us register with the FSA as a Consumer Credit Institute. You will take a lead role in the compliance of our multi-national Nordic consumer finance business, ensuring that we are up-to-date with relevant legislations.


Our quickly expanding business will need a manager to take the reins of the Sweden Launch (running the whole operation from Sweden) within a year. Alternatively, this position could be compliance / audit focused - we’ll need someone to fill that role as we quickly expand over several Nordic countries.


Whilst we’re really looking for someone who has already advanced up the career ladder in the consumer finance industry, it’s equally important that you can find out how to solve problems you’ve never encountered before.
